It is a well-known fact that rural communities are challenged in accessing basic financial resources, educational and even information required for general upkeep, social and economic development.

It has been identified that the government alone cannot bridge the gap between the urban settings and the rural areas. The mission of this foundation is to help bridge this gap by creating an adequate and efficient platform.

Goals of the ECN Initaitive

• Provide basic learning opportunities for rural children facilitated by provision of necessary tools and scholarship programs.
• Give the rural child the chance to be forward looking and have a vision with no limits by providing mentorship.
• Provide valuable job training for rural men and women, enabling them to escape poverty and build a brighter future for their family.
• Develop health education and disease prevention programs all over the rural areas in focus, thereby helping to create healthier and health conscious communities.

Case Studies of ECN Initiatives.

Scenarios in the past of endeavours of Late Dr E.C Nnama of which this foundation seeks to continue and ensure his Legacy lives on.

• Major participant in reconstruction projects: Rebuilding maternity in his own town, Nibo.
• Logistics and Transportation: Provided Chartered luxury bus for transportation of indigenes to his village during the festive periods.
• Education: Provided scholarship(School Fees) and mentorship for many who could not afford their fees to study both home and abroad.
• Community projects: Contributed immensely to the building of the kindred town hall by personal donation and support from his friends.
• Business: Sponsored many to become apprentices in various trades, thereby creating individual empowerment.
• Infrastructure: Backup Power generation to the Anglican Church in local kindred via provision of 20kva sound proof generator.
