The Emmanuel Chukwuma Nnama Foundation is in memory of Late Sir Emmanuel Chukwuma Nnama (The Owelle of Nibo,Ezilowo Haven Umuenechi Nibo).
Dr. Emmanuel C. Nnama was trained at Ahmadu Bello University and the University of Nigeria Nsukka under the NPA (Nigerian Ports Authority) pioneer Cadet Engineers scholarship from 1965 to 1972. Upon graduation in 1972, he was appointed Communications Engineer in charge of Apapa Port Complex.
In 1999, he was appointed Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the NCC.
During his last years post NCC (Nigeria Communications Commission) he was involved in philanthropy, seeking multiple avenues to impact the rural indigenes and provide them opportunities to further their education and improve healthcare.
