Uzoamaka Nwamarah is a seasoned professional with a strong grounding in international climate change policy and finance. She has extensive experience working with national governments, regional bodies and International Financial Institutions on climate change mitigation and adaptation. She advices and supports them in designing and implementing low carbon and climate resilient strategies, programmes and projects across key economic sectors (energy, transport, agriculture, water and health) together with climate finance resource mobilization.
Uzoamaka is also well-experienced in the application of climate risk screening and carbon management tools as well as strengthening institutional capacity on climate change and finance. She has demonstrable competency in presenting clear, result-oriented and authoritative evidence-based research and analysis of technical, economic and policy issues.
